Joint Meet with Haydon at Moss Kennels, Sat 1st Feb 2003

Some of the field following hounds on quads due to the frozen ground making it dangerous for horses.

12 1/2 Couple from each pack totally integrated after a successful conclusion during the joint meet of the Braes of Derwent and Haydon hunts on Saturday 1st February 2003.  The hounds killed the fox cleanly, above ground within site of the Roman Wall at Housteads.  Both huntsmen were in close attendance, even though they were on foot.
